A mysterious disappearance makes two completely separate worlds collide, creating an extremely odd couple - the lawyer Emily and recently released convict Teddy.

Both Emily and Teddy are hurt by the intruders in Philip's apartment, but Teddy is able to sneak out before anyone sees him. When Emily realizes that he knows Södertälje well, she asks him for help. And that is just the beginning.

They only have two days to find Philip. Philip's sister has come home to deal with the mess. Teddy's nephew and his friends are involved somehow. They were the ones who mugged Philip, but are they behind the kidnapping too?

Teddy is more and more affected the further they get in their search. He starts to think back what resulted in his prison sentence. It is time for Emily's partner meeting, for which she is prepared to sacrifice absolutely anything.

They finally find and rescue Philip. The only question is how Teddy could have known where to find him? Emily prepares to make the deal of a lifetime, but when it is time to sign, it turns out that she has been taken off the deal.
