Young Luce is convicted of something she can't remember. She meets Daniel at the mysterious Swords & Cross reformatory - and feels a longstanding bond with him.

After solitary confinement, Luce doubts her memory: did she attack Cam after all? She wants to break into the infirmary to find out the truth from his medical records.

Luce manages to steal revealing photos from Howson's office. She and Daniel get closer at the lake. But then Luce is suddenly pulled underwater...

Howson has the creature that attacked Luce captured. Penn gets closer to the truth about her own past. Luce and Daniel read the decrypted files - and are amazed.
